Lipid Nutrition has introduced PinnoThin, a new appetite suppressant product. The company says PinnoThin suppresses appetite by stimulating the release of the hormone cholecystokinin (CCK). Independent research has shown PinnoThin significantly induces CCK release and decreases the desire to eat. PinnoThin is derived from the small seeds of the Korean pine nut tree. The active component is pinolenic acid, which stimulates the feeling of satiety.
